Formed in 1985, releasing their first 2 records on legendary Liverpool label Probe Plus, Revolutionary Army... have always stunned and captivated their quarry

The mid 80s to mid 90s version of the band honed the iconography of the band and the visual world they created with their music, using religious symbolism to animate their gothic, haunting epic soundscapes​

After a long hiatus, the collective returned in 2013, as if they had never slept a wink, releasing several bewitching albums with the aptly named Occultation Records

​

Over the years, the band have developed a large following across the UK and Europe and have become a much sought after act in niche music scenes across the continent

9x9 Records joined forces with the experimental outfit to release

'The Dream We Carry' in 2024, it's success the first true sign for us that project had become so much more than a basement record label​

'The Dream We Carry' received so much love that we began work on further releases with this enchanting act. We are now bracing ourselves for the double release of 'Devotion to a Noble Ideal' and 'Rumour of Angels' both released in May 2025
